Classy Stripes OOTD

Yes, it's 100+ degrees in Texas, and I am crazy for constantly wearing blazers. I just can't help myself!! Luckily fall is rapidly approaching, it really can't come soon enough.

You'll probably notice my outfits consist of a lot of neutrals, with one pop of color. This is just a fool proof look for me, and it really helps me a lot when picking out my outfits. You also might notice I own a lot of colored skirts, this helps me to have variety in my wardrobe! 

I started purchasing more colored skirts about a year ago, because while a nice classic black skirt is great, it can become blasé when you wear it with every outfit. Owning skirts in different, fun colors makes it incredibly easy to put together cute outfits.

For my makeup, I went with sort of a "daytime smokey eye". I worked with a lot of cool, gray tones, so it was smokey without being dark or dramatic. I mean you can't really see what my eye makeup looks like because my obnoxious lashes are in the way, but I guess you can take my word for it. Speaking of lashes, I'm trying out a new mascara (story of my life, right?), this one is L'Oreal telescopic shocking extensions.
